Lil' Ba-Ba-Reeba! Reviews
Brenna was amazing. The food was the second best part to her service
This was our first trip to lil-rib-a-rib-a and we really enjoyed it! It’s in a great area in North River with many other Latin/Spanish themed restaurants. This is a Spanish Tapas style place so we ordered several plates to share. The shaved Brussel sprouts salad was delicious! We also enjoyed the garlic shrimp and the scallops dish too. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. Our server was also one of the bartenders and he was very attentive and personable - we recommend for...read full review

Lil' Ba-Ba-Reeba! offers an amazing dining experience with consistently delicious food and refreshing drinks, including their popular sangria. The kind and knowledgeable staff provide excellent service, making it a great spot for a cute date night or drinks with friends. The cozy atmosphere and small plate options create a wonderful dining experience. The tortilla was absolutely perfect—rich in flavor with a spot-on texture. The Ibérico Ham Croquetas were divine: crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside. The Pressed “Bikini” Sandwiches were a delightful surprise—perfectly balanced and bursting with taste. The Jamón Ibérico Bellota has a melt-in-your-mouth quality that truly stands out.
Recently, customers noted that Lil' Ba-Ba-Reeba! has evolved to have a 'Spanish-like' feel. The food is still pretty good and offers value if diners know how to order. It can be noisy like any good tapas bar in Spain, but it's not overwhelming for conversation. The service remains very good and knowledgeable. The ambiance is described as elegant yet relaxed, and the restaurant is significantly smaller than the Lincoln Park location, making it less suitable for large groups. Customers recommend trying the Chorizo Wrapped Dates and the dessert menu, especially the Butterscotch Custard.
With great food and atmosphere, friendly people, and a focus on favorites like Shishito peppers, Bacon wrapped dates, and beef empanada, every visit promises satisfaction. Reservations are recommended.
