It’s a “Seinfeld” diner. By that I mean it’s an oldschool city diner. The food was okay. Not great, but not bad. Predictable. Coffee was good. Sometimes you just want to eat at a diner for the feel of time travel. Nice staff. Friendly. NGL found myself listening to other people’s conversations which were dramatic and colorful. 😄
Stopped here on my ride along the lakefront trail. It was ok, service was average, I ordered the veggie omelette and it was pretty good...they only give you one piece of toast which kinda sux but ehhhh...it was a very quiet restaurant, not many people talking, and if they were it was in whispers...wierd atmosphere
It’s a lil pricey for diner food. Defeats the purpose of going to a diner, but I can’t say how much inflation costs is actually going into the recent price hike. The food is good, but it’s just a regular diner and with better restaurants in the area at the same price point, I can’t justify giving 5 stars.

With tip, I’m typically spending about $20-$27 for one person. I just end up going elsewhere if I’m gonna be spending that much money.
