Gave Little Quiapo another chance, because the Groupon for $22 for a buffet dinner for two is such a sweet deal. We went there for my bf's birthday because he loves filipino food, and he enjoyed the dinner. It's exactly what it advertises, a homey Filipino buffet serving food that you might find at a Filipino party. Eons ago, this place was poppin''--always busy on the weekends and attracted large groups of people. Sadly, times have changed even though the restaurant looks the same (feel like it never evolved). My brother had a coupon, and I happened to be free so I tagged along. We have been here many times and have even rented the banquet hall of the restaurant for our Mom's 60th Birthday. We keep coming here despite the hour long drive to Chicago from the suburbs because there is no Filipino restaurant offering delicious buffet at an affordable price.
