La Costa is a gem for seafood lovers. I visited for dinner and tried the Langostinos Estilo Nayarit—grilled shrimp in a rich, spicy adobo sauce—and the Chapuzón, a mix of shrimp, octopus, and oysters in a flavorful red sauce. Both dishes were bursting with authentic flavors. The ambiance is laid-back with a touch of elegance, making it perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. Definitely a spot I'll return to.

Today I bought some Ceviche de pescado, I got a large it was 27.69 in total I got home and tasted it and it was very salty. This was very unusual to me because I’ve bought this before and it wasn’t this salty.
The food was amazing with large portions. Our waitress was friendly and took care of us as quickly as she could, even with how busy it was. The live bands made the atmosphere fun and added to a great overall experience.

I highly recommend La Costa. They offer a wide variety of food and the service is excellent. Everyone is very friendly, and the best part is that they provide photos and music—perfect for celebrating someone’s birthday. I really enjoyed the experience!

On July 13th, we celebrated Grandma's birthday. We arrived at the restaurant and were assigned a table, but a few minutes later they changed our table. We then ordered and requested that the spicy sauce be served separately because some people don't like it. They served what we ordered, but they put spicy sauce on everything. We asked the waiter to change it because some people don't like spicy sauce. After a 45-minute wait, they served us the same dishes, but with the difference: they skimmed the spicy sauce off and turned the fish over so it wasn't visible. Upon tasting the food, it wasn't eatable for the guests, especially for the birthday girl. It's a place that doesn't care about customer service and satisfaction.

La Costa delivered a fun and flavorful seafood experience - starting with a solid ceviche, followed by a massive entrée loaded with shrimp, crab legs, mussels, scallops, and bold seasoning. The standout dish was the octopus - tender and super well seasoned, and truly memorable. A satisfying meal overall and great spot for seafood lovers.

Great casual spot for Mexican-style seafood in Chicago’s Belmont-Central neighborhood. Very generous portions for the price—you can feed a small group for around $50 and walk away satisfied

You ever scout out a spot, and think, man this place looks amazing. And then you get there and you're right? This place was amazing. Super welcoming folks working there, helpful with menu and sauce suggestions, and the food is incredible.

Food was solid, but I had bought a large and in it was mostly filled with sauce, and this imitation crab or rice; barely any muscles, clams, octopus, and gave half of a snow crab. I had also gotten pick up and the sauce spilled all over me and my carseat. (there was no space to put it down anywhere)
