Whenever I have guests visiting, Miss Saigon is the first place I take them for real Vietnamese flavors.

Best Bun Bo Hue I have ever tried in Chicago area. Pho Ga Chat is also a must try. We will come back to try everything else.

The best Pho and beef noodle in town. The warm atmosphere and authentic traditional Vietnamese cuisine in Chicago you can find.

I love how the flavors are well-balanced—not too salty or sweet—just right and full of Vietnamese soul.

Miss Saigon is a Vietnamese restaurant with genuinely good, flavorful food that feels fresh and well prepared. The dishes have a clean taste, not overly salty or heavy, and the ingredients come through nicely. Portions are solid, and everything I tried had that comforting, home-style flavor you expect from a good Vietnamese place.

The atmosphere is simple but pleasant, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s an easy spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal without any rush. If you’re in the area and want something tasty and satisfying, this is a great place to stop for a good Vietnamese meal.

I really like this place but even though I live around the corner, I rarely make it since we don't even start thinking about what to have for dinner until 8 and they close at 9.

The most dramatic and poor customer service restaurant ever. I was forced to take down my previous review about how dirty the place is and worst customer service by the owner. Good luck. I wouldn’t be eating here.

I really liked this place. I got the chicken pho and it was exceptional. They had a sampler platter which was a bit of everything and I enjoyed that as well. We also got the clay pot rice!!! WOW

Miss Saigon on Argyle is straight fire. I hit it for lunch and ordered the Pho Tai (rare beef pho), a crispy shrimp spring roll and a taro bubble tea. Broth was deep and savory, noodles had the perfect chew, rolls were crunchy-fresh, and that boba hit just right. Staff was hella friendly and the dining room’s got a chill, modern vibe. Five stars!

We went to Miss Saigon because the reviews were generally positive and it looked clean and decent in the review photos. A crowd of almost 12 people stood at the door for 45 minutes waiting for staff to acknowledge us. We'd been politely waiting to be seated (there were 4-5 empty tables, several tables were waiting to ask for their check). All of this could've been forgivable if the food was good.
Well, we ordered shrimp spring rolls (indifferent, too few peanuts for the dipping sauce and no herbs in the spring roll) and 'Saigon Pho.' We had to ask a table next to us if we could share some of their condiments because the Pho broth was so bland. The broth was also murky. The menu says that the meat cut used is oxtail (it was not). The noodles were ok, but many of bean sprouts were ancient or not so great.
Overall, a really disappointing experience.

Best bang-for-your-buck banh mi spot in Uptown! I like to come here solo or with friends. Their fries have that perfect, lightly battered outside crispy and flaky texture that is almost addicting to eat. The banh mi comes with either a side of fries or shrimp chips and is about 10.50 total, so a really good deal for a meal. The photo of the one I got was a chicken banh mi since I don't eat pork, but my friends have gotten the bbq pork one and they enjoyed theirs!
