Monk’s Pub is one of those old-school Chicago spots that just hits different. The vintage books, dark wood, and barrels give it this cozy, European tavern feel—perfect for a laid-back night. Ordered the Monkburger ($15) with Swiss and mushrooms, and it was legit one of the best bar burgers I’ve had downtown. Paired it with a Weihenstephaner hefeweizen ($8), which fit the vibe perfectly.
