Muscle past the looks of the place and get some great food! If I was a local, those that work there and I would be on a first name basis and know how the kids are doing. We went nice and hungry after a day moving. I got tacos, the others had burritos. The burritos were big. The preparation of the dishes have been Americanized, but the ingredients are fresh and the prep is really well done and tasty. Staff was all business but attentive.
Best mexican food in chicago, hands down. From the tacos, to the nachos, to the burritos. I was going multiple times a week because it was so good ! Had to slow it down! Food always fresh and authentic ! I always take my friends there who visit from out of town!

Very authentic Mexican spot. I did takeout and got the beef burrito and it was excellent! It was made after I ordered, so tasted fresh.I went in the evening, so the cashier/cook were the same person (perhaps the owner too?) - but he was SO nice! The environment felt very "homey."
