If I could have icecream from one store for the rest of my life, I would choose Oberweiss! This is such an underrated store! Their icecreams are truly high quality. They are very creamy! Their hot fudge is to die for! The ambience is that of a typical old school ice cream store. They also have many games that you could play while you eat your ice cream. They have tables with built in chessboards. My favorite is the pistachio icecream, it's loaded with tons and tons of pistachios, however, it has been out of stock for a while and I have been ardently waiting for them to bring it back. I also love their vanilla icecream with hot fudge, so good!!!!! Their blackberry lemon flavor is very interesting too and it's only available during summer. They also have high quality milk, you can recycle the bottles and get $5 back. Love this store and highly recommend!

Dark chocolate sea salt caramel ice cream is just dark chocolate ice cream - no caramel and hasn’t had any caramel in any of the pints/quarts or scoops for several months now.

Stopped by for some ice cream after a Cubs game. The workers were all so friendly and nice. Overweis ice cream is so creamy and delicious! Love it!

Yum. Such good ice cream and a fantastic selection of flavors! I waited outside with our pup but it looked super cute inside- I think I'm going to take my son back tomorrow or the following day. My chocolate malt was exactly what I'd been craving and my son's chocolate marshmallow ice cream was sooo good.
