Tip driven establishment. I was told that I cannot eat my to go at the restaurant because to go orders do not curate tips for their servers. I’ve been eating here since June and never heard this until now. If you’re so concerned about your employees then just increase their pay but do not push your customers out of the door. The manager tried to explain that it’s because to go customers do not clean up after themselves promoting the waitresses to still “serve” but there’s literally no garbage cans for a customer to throw their trash away except BEHIND THE SERVICE STAND which is where I independently dispose of my trash EVERY TIME! Also no matter how many times I emphasis when ordering they never fulfill my request of frying my fries hard. Imagine ordering a to go order , walking back to your office because you cannot eat there just to discover that your food is not to your liking.

I recently stopped by Hooters in downtown Chicago for a quick dinner. The delicious aroma as I was walking by convinced me to indulge in some wings. I ordered the boneless combo, which includes 10 boneless wings with fries and a drink. The food was satisfying, and the wings were exactly what I was craving.
My only issue was with my large Dr. Pepper – I was looking forward to a nice, cold drink, especially since the ice machine at home isn’t working. Unfortunately, the Dr. Pepper was completely flat, which was a bit of a letdown. I was surprised that no one at the restaurant noticed, but it’s a small and easily fixable issue that didn’t affect my overall experience.
Overall, I’d still recommend this location for the food and atmosphere. Just a minor hiccup with the drink, which I’m sure they’ll address!

Ordered food via DoorDash, everything tasted good and was hot. Only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is they didn’t include ranch/dipping sauce. In this day and age who’s ordering wings and not getting dipping sauce???

Decent wings but won't come here again. The servers twice already overcharge us for the beverages we get. The first time they charged us an extra drink whenever ordered, then this time they charged us for the wrong size. Bad customer service. They never get it right. Will not come back again

Reservations doesn't matter on their weekend hours. Waited about 30minutes for my reserved table. Hostess said that they still take reservations even when they are at full capacity. Hooters is Hooters, just plan according.

The heat was cranked way too high. We left earlier than we wanted to because it was uncomfortably hot in there. The fries were undercooked, the service was very slow and inattentive. Took forever to get drinks even though the restaurant was not busy at all.

I am compelled to share my disappointing experience at this location, which has led me to reconsider future visits to Hooters. Unfortunately, the entire night staff, including the manager, fell short of expectations. Despite my reluctance, I feel it necessary to document my concerns. We had a 9:45pm reservation, but upon arrival, there was no greeting from the staff or manager. The manager, (Description: African American bucked tooth woman)(I am also AA btw), walked past us without acknowledgment, seemingly upset by our arrival. A Hooters server eventually greeted us and checked on seating availability. After a 20-25 minute wait, we were seated, only to find the table inadequately cleaned. Our waitress prioritized taking another table's order over addressing our concerns. The manager's lack of attention and unprofessional behavior, including socializing with another guest while ignoring our issues, was particularly concerning. Although our food arrived correctly, the staff's behavior, including inappropriate conversations in front of customers talking about each other Mothers, was unprofessional. Given the prevalence of negative reviews, I question the efficacy of an apology. No need to!

I visited Hooters, the first Hooters location in Chicago, and noticed a significant change. Over the years, Hooters has undergone some changes. There has been a shift in the way the public views these types of establishments, in part due to increased awareness of issues of objectification and gender equality. Additionally, with the growing demand for more family-friendly and inclusive environments, Hooters may have adjusted its image a bit to align with modern cultural expectations.
These changes reflect a landscape where the sensual appeal of yesteryear may no longer be the main draw of the location.
