It's was ok. Nothing spectacular. Fun vibe and welcoming atmosphere to hang out. Worth a pit stop

The baristas seemed friendly. We got there close to close so couldn't stay too long, but it was the perfect cozy spot for a rainy afternoon! With both couches and tables, there are options for reading, chatting, or getting work done. My vanilla latte was tasty, selected from multiple decaf options which I appreciated.

A work from home gem! Stopped by for a quick bite and some coffee in between meetings. Everything about this place is great. I am always on the hunt for lavender lattes and this place has a great one! The barista was super nice and there are so many tables for working and chatting with friends. I just loved the vibe of the whole place. I can't wait to be back!

Great customer service and staff is friendly. They made us a frozen coffee drink not in the menu but similar to a frappe. Nice roasted coffee as well and ice mocha was rich and not too strong. Pastries are large portions and the chocolate croissant was amazinggg! Plenty of tables to work from your laptap and comfy chairs to sit and relax. Nice coffee shop in southloop.

Overflow Coffee is truly a South Loop gem and one of my favorite spots in the area. Stepping into the space is like entering a haven of culture, community, and culinary delights. The ambiance is set with music that fills the air and enticing aromas that tempt you to try everything on the menus. With ample seating and complimentary Wi-Fi, it's the perfect spot to settle in and get some work done. The walls adorned with art beautifully showcase the history and culture of the building, adding to the unique charm of the place. Alongside their staple menu items, I love that they offer seasonal menus, keeping things fresh and exciting. The baristas are fantastic, always serving up top-notch drinks with a smile. I was thrilled to learn about their upcoming Acoustic Afternoon event this Friday, where local artists will perform from 4 to 6, and the shop will have extended hours - such a cool initiative! Overflow Coffee regularly hosts events throughout the month that celebrate community, culture, and local artists, exemplifying their commitment to supporting and showcasing local talent. It's also a wonderfully inclusive space, welcoming guests of all ages, making it a great spot to bring the kids along. #buylocal

Looked better online than it actually is in person. :( If you want coffee that's actually good, go elsewhere. If you need wifi and workspace, this works. I didn't try the pastries, but there are some.

This place is great! It’s located in the old offices of VeeJay Records, a famous soul, R&B, jazz and rock (the first Beatles album!) label in the 1960s. If that weren’t cool enough, there’s also soft lighting, exposed brick, a high loft wood beam ceiling, VeeJay record paraphernalia, and chill background music playing homage to their roots. Pretty crowded (but surprisingly quiet) with what appear to be lots of work-from-homers. And they serve coffee flights! Four 4oz pours of their signature lattes. How fun is that? This one is going on my favorites list

great space on Michigan ave with nice work stations and plenty of seats. I had black coffee, my friend had a latte with almond milk and gluten-free treat and I got a lemon blueberry bread. Everything is made on premises , total was about $22. It was nice catching up with my girlfriend over coffee and a latte ...this can become our regular hangout!

A clean and low key local coffee shop. Venue is nice and the noise level is not too loud, enough to study, work remotely. or have an intimate conversation. I had the overflow latte and that's pretty fire. The breakfast croissant sandwich was pretty standard. Will be coming back!

The loafs (cakey sweet bread) and tea are delicious. Don't skip the grilled cheese. Nice spacious atmosphere.
