The worst fried chicken šŸ— in town I definitely don't recommend this place to anyone

Really delicious food, great drinks, and a fun vibe! We were able to sit comfortably as a party of 9 and we didn't wait that long for the food, especially given how crowded it was on a Friday night. I would return for the slushy cocktails alone. Hush puppies with ham/bacon were also incredible. I'm from the south and was very impressed.

My wife and I just had our wedding party at Parsons and everything was absolutely perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening!! The food, drinks, dĆ©cor and overall vibe were perfect for us. It’s obviously less formal, but filled with personality and just a great time overall. The indoor/outdoor setup was perfect for a summer wedding, especially with the garage doors up. People could dance inside, hangout at the picnic tables outside, grab drinks everywhere and feel included and part of the fun.

The entire Parson’s team was spectacular throughout the entire process. HUUUUGE shoutout to Crystal, the events coordinator, who was incredible to work with. She graciously showing us around, helped us with the dĆ©cor elements, guided us through the menu process and worked to ensure the wedding day went smoothly and came out exactly how we envisioned. Truly the entire Parson’s team/staff was awesome! Multiple guests mentioned how attentive and amazing the service was that evening, and how cool and fun the wedding party was. 10/10 event. Would get married there again if we could!!

Food was alright, service was ok, seemed like they were short staffed as our table and other tables were constantly looking around to find their waiter/waitress. Largest complaint was the atmosphere, it’s 90 degrees out and humid and they had the garage doors open. It was just as hot outside as it was inside. Nobody likes eating and socializing while sweating badly and other tables were experiencing the same thing which made it very uncomfortable. Even the staff were trying to fan themselves to cool off. Would recommend they just shut the doors on very hot days and have the AC going as also babies/children are inside as well.

The service was horrible. After being seated we had to wait 20 minutes and ask the host two times for our server to come to our table. I saw a trio of friends come in after us and were served and eating before we were able to put our orders in. After placing our order with our server he never checked on us, never got refills unless we called for him, and he never brought us our food. We saw our food sitting in the kitchen window for 10 minutes before another server finally brought it out for us. It didn’t seem that busy either It’s like they forgot about the customers inside the building. We even saw another table of guys ask the host to send the server over to their table to order too after having waiting 10-15 minutes after being seated. ridiculous!!

My family of five and I left Parsons feeling dissatisfied due to the poor service. Despite being seated right away, we were neglected by our server, who failed to greet us or take our order. We waited for 15 minutes before deciding to depart without dining. The host's farewell lacked sincerity when we shared our reason for leaving, as he showed no interest in resolving the issue. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations, and we will not be returning to Parsons.

Overpriced for small portions. 13$ for a chicken sandwich with mostly bread and mayonnaise and lettuce service was pretty slow too. Food was good tho

Pretty bold of a mediocre fried chicken shack to set their suggested tips to start at 20%. There's really nothing that I can recommend getting here, I have had a better chicken sandwich from chains.

I ordered take out and they got my order wrong and when I got home to eat the Mac and cheese was room temperature, fries tasted like it was cooked in old grease. Took 30 minutes to get our food. I wish I could have tasted the grilled chicken like I ordered.

I’ve always loved the Logan Square Parsons, but this location in Lincoln Park is bigger and more spacious. Indoor, bar, and outdoor seating galore—super clean and aesthetic. Bartenders? Hella nice and helpful. HIGHLY recommend the fried chicken sandwich šŸ— and don’t sleep on their iconic alcoholic slushees. I had The Last Win with chartreuse which was strong, refreshing, and straight-up delicious. šŸ¤ŒšŸ½

ALSO ā€¼ļø they have a great happy hour during the week!

The food here is great but almost every time we have gone here the service is abysmal. On two occasions we ordered another round of drinks that never arrived. You have to chase someone down to pay and be sure to double check the bill. Both times we tried ordering second drinks and never got them, they were on the bill. It’s pretty well known they’re under staffed but the staff that’s actually there seems more interested in socializing amongst themselves than serving tables.
