Ate outside on the sidewalk. Had Hawaiian rolls, tempura elote, fried chicken and beef cheeks. The flavors were amazing. We want to come back for the chef's tasting menu. It looks amazing!

I sat at the counter and got to see the kitchen in action. It was a really fun experience seeing the chefs prepare the food and run the kitchen so smoothly! I had the chef's menu and the stand outs for me were the foie gras and salad.

We went as a group of 4 for the pre-theater dinner experience. The menu selection was wonderful and the portions were perfect. Each dish was beautifully curated. The Temporary Joy cocktail is a must try!

Order the tempura corn cakes. Best thing I have ever eaten. Drinks were great. Scallops sadly were fishy. Shrimp and pork belly bites were good. Beef cheeks were ok. Asparagus was ok. Overall, an ok place that seems advertised to be a place to go for a special occasion. Our dinner was supposed to be special and sadly wasn't. Wait staff were phenomenal!

We went for my boyfriend's birthday. We shared most of the A La Carte menu. Everything was absolutely FANTASTIC! I am very pleased with the service, food, and ambiance. We are definitely coming back! Thank you!

The food was so delicious with so many interesting and exciting flavors. The service was great and the space was beautiful. It was a great place for my husband and I to have dinner with another couple. We all enjoyed tasting the different items and having a leisurely dinner.

The food was delicious, cocktails were awesome, service wasn't great - it took 30 minutes before we ordered drinks and another 15 before we ordered dinner - then 20 minutes later a different waitress came over and asked us to repeat our order so we didn't get dinner until an hour later. Our waitress checked in on us 3 times within 5 minutes, then would wait 45 minutes to check in on us again.

This place and its sibling Sepia are always on point, top to bottom. The smart servers are also ... sweet? Cocktails and dishes are first-rate, and it's a really sharp and well-edited wine list. Go. Get the softshell crabs just now arriving.

Overall good. Nothing super creative but well implemented and with good quality ingredients . The meat was better than expected for a non steakhouse. The restaurant itself was fairly nondescript, I'm having trouble remembering the decoration just a couple of days after the meal.

Lovely service and food. We had the chef's menu and the team was very considerate of an allergy and preference for two of my guests. The staff were very attentive and intuitive. Our server Ivan, as well as his colleagues were professional but fun and entertaining. Natalie also entertained my unorthodox reservation note and engaged us in a fun conversation. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a family style chef's menu with a group or a more intimate meal with a loved one. I'll be back when I'm in Chicago next time! and Txakoli by the glass is always fun to see! :)

In a city with so many great steakhouses, Proxi makes our favorite steak. Can't go wrong with the strip or the ribeye. Every dish is excellent. Our favorite restaurant in Chicago. We eat here about twice a month.

Not a fan of the new menu. My favorite dishes moved to the tasting menu. Asked our waiter if we could order off tasting menu and he said he would ask. Then a couple of minutes later he said he was sure they wouldn't. Left hungry for $200 as we had to make a show. I won't be returning except for the tasting menu. Very disappointed in our waiter who diminished the experience further

We sat at a hightop and, wow, not sure the restaurant could have chosen and me UNcomfortable seating for their patrons. The barstool was so uncomfortable and even the couch was so high up that your feet had to dangle. Food and service was good but would not come back due to obnoxious seating. What a big miss, management.

Loved our meal. We had the tempura elotes, foie gras buns (the FAVORITE), scallops, octopus, beef cheek and fried chicken. We got the mango desert. We enjoyed everything tremendously, with exception of the fried chicken. It was rather bland and dry. The cocktails and wines were also very good. Service was efficient and pleasant. The ambiance is nice. It was busy but not loud. We would definitely come back.
