The food was amazing. The Chef has created dishes that blend flavors in creative and synergistic ways. Also worth mentioning is the ambiance: the restaurant was lively, energetic and busy, yet the background noise was still rather low, and not the typical din of a loud restaurant where conversation is challenging.
Had friends in from St Louis and wanted an awesome Chicago food experience and Proxi gets an A+. Food and service was excellent and noise level was great! We were able to have engaging conversation the whole time...so rare in Chicago restaurants lately.

Interesting food, but not great, with a fantastic sauce. The food is merely a vessel for the sauce. Which once you figure it out , the item becomes underwhelming. Service is outstanding. Interesting wines. Glad I came but I won't be back
