This place is not just the best Italian nearby, it’s one of the best in the city. The pasta here is pretty much unbeatable. The Cacio e Pepe is probably the best I’ve had anywhere, even Italy. On top of all of that, the prices here make sense. Perfect all around.

P.s. Read the previous review about bdays not being recognized, and as a fellow hospitality worker, it's great to have it recognized, but should never be a requirement to a small business trying to do great things and make ends meet! Celebrate AND PAY, because restaurant overhead is no joke.

Came here today for my birthday and had such a terrible experience. The server was in a mood the whole time and seemed bothered to serve us. The cesar salad was from a bag and the drinks was very strong which some would enjoy.The caccio e Pepe was good and the vodka rigatoni was okay. This is also the first restaurant that doesn’t acknowledge a birthday. The server didn’t even bring the dessert menu around to see. The ambiance just is overwhelmingly not welcoming here which is upsetting because we did enjoy the pasta.

Went with friends to celebrate the holidays. Server was nice but we didn't see much of him. Some of the dishes were delicious, while others were pretty disappointing. I highly recommend the chicken - seems like the house specialty and it was delicious. The seafood risotto not so much. Had too much saffron. Restaurant is really cute, I will definitely give it another try!

This is my second time at regalia. Different friends each time. Consistently the service has been attentive, but not overbearing. The food is tasty and well prepared. We sat Outdoors the first time,but now in winter we were indoors. Of course outside is pleasant, and thankfully the indoors is also spacious, attractive, not loud. Very conducive to relaxing evening out.
