Although this eatery has been closed temporarily (I hope) due to the pandemic, this is truly a hidden gem! This is by bar one of the coziest and welcoming wine bars on the Chicago River. Lovely little place, delicious food, cool cozy atmosphere, great location, reasonable prices. Our server was slow even though we told him we had theater, wasn't super knowledgeable about wine (oddly) and served the wine in the wrong glass (um...it's a wine bar. Bad form.) but was otherwise charming. Previous visits were perfect. Rivers is my favorite place but this is a nice change of pace.

Food and service are both very hit or miss. when it is good it is very very good, but when it is off it is too overpriced. The decor is really cool and certainly gives off a classic Americana vibe. The drinks here for sure weren't really good, they were just alright. The veg sandwich I had was not at all good, but the beef sandwich here is amazing, I would eat it everyday. Only would come here for the sandwich, tad dissapointed by the rest.
