4 stars for the quality and the customer service of the woman I spoke to over the phone. I took a star off bc the woman who served me this morning has the worst service and attitude. She didn’t understand why I slightly changed my order (the price per dozen is listed different online than in person). When I corrected at the store KINDLY she got so upset. Times have changed and its not that easy to find that corner spot with the Lady that makes the best tamales from scratch. This place always checks out. Have to get it early for better experience

Best place closest to the house! Do I think $12 for a dozen is a bit much? Sorta‽ Is it cheaper and more accessible than monolos and other places? ABSOLUTELY! I never had a bitter or negative experience buying from here. If you come at the crack of opening or a Sunday you'll get the best fresh tamales. The fresa and frijoles y queso tamales are a delight.
