Best chicken shawarma I’ve yet tried in Chicago. The tahini is terrific and has that authentic texture of good, real, tahini that is not cut with dairy (my assumption). The portion sizes are so generous that I don’t know how they stay in business; if you’re ever in the area you owe it to yourself to give it a try!
I love Rumi! I live about 45 minutes away from Wicker Park, but everytime I come I have to stop at this restaurant. The best shwarma i’ve ever had, the cooks are always so nice, and the atmosphere is gorgeous. I wish I lived closer so I could come more?. You won’t be disappointed if you come here!
Fantastic lunch spot… delicious chicken shawarma but everything on the menu looked good. Healthy and nutritious. Owner was kind and wanted to make sure everything was alright.
