My wife and I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants and I almost always order Pad Thai.
This is the first time my dish felt truly authentic.
But most of all, it was not greasy. All other Vietnamese restaurants Pad Thai dishes were greasy and not as tasty. Furthermore, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely go back the next time I am in Chicago.

Came around 2:30pm. Saw on the cashier screen they had Vietnamese coffee and iced Thai tea, so I asked the chef/cashier?? if there was a drink menu cause i did not see the drinks in the menu. He just pointed at the fridge and said with attitude “there are drinks there, water, cola etc.” Didn’t even wanna bother asking anymore after that. He made me feel like a fool by doing that. Like sir I have eyes and can see it too, but did not see the special drinks you guys offer….
Ordered Pho, he said they only had beef left. I said okay that’s fine. Then I asked for spring rolls and he goes “which one?” I literally looked up at the menu screen for ONE second to see what they had and he immediately goes “Miss take your time, when you are ready” and just turns away. Like damn?? I took ONE second to answer. Patience 0.
Even after all that attitude and service, I still tipped. Biggest regret honestly.
Then comes the craziest part. He took my order, touched the cashier screen, touched cash/bills, then went straight to making my spring rolls with BARE HANDS without washing them. While making MY spring rolls, another customer came in and he started taking their order too while literally holding my spring roll in the other hand.
Actually insane. There’s no way this is okay. This place seriously needs to be reported to CDPH. After seeing all that I couldn’t even eat the spring rolls anymore.

The banh mi needs more pate and mayo. It was dry. Good amount of meat and cha though.
The bun bo hue’s broth is flavorless.
The banh bao isn’t even banh bao, it was chinese’s bao and the “caramelised” chicken was flavorless.

I love pho... but this was honestly up there with the worst pho I've ever had and for $20 it was definitely not worth it. The broth had an off putting smell and taste that made the whole thing just taste gross. Will not go back.
Horrible bbq beef banh mi. It was soggy and fatty. Not the usual bbq beef sandwich. I won’t go here ever again
Wish I took a photo of it.

I got the classic viet banh mi but was very surprised that most of the meat was American ham instead of Vietnamese cold cuts. There was a sliver of viet pork roll & a dab of pate for $11. You’re better off at Jimmy John’s for that price. The veggie eggroll was good.

Be careful where U R ordering - I was looking for the restaurant, but ended up at the market stall.
I was trying to get some decent pho. But got some small brown soup in a plastic bowl with few slices of meat. The soup isn’t rich and taste like sauce rather than bone broth. It was pricey for what it was and I am hungry still. Don’t order the soup - they will put the hot liquid in a plastic bowl.

Great ambience and very warm service. The spicy noodles were THE best Asian noodles dish I’d ever had, very highly recommended!

Paid 2 dollars extra for avocado, got only three slices. The caramelized chicken is good put the portion is a lot smaller than most places for the price they ask. Service and convenience were great, just not worth the price for what you’re getting.
I ordered the stir fried noodles with pork meatballs and it was a disappointment. Food was extremely salty, both the noodles and the meatballs. It was awful, I felt I was eating blocks of salt. No freshness to the taste and not healthy. With the amount I paid it was a big regret.
Saigon Sisters is fire. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. They cook the food fresh and ready to eat and they maintain the restaurant clean. Amazing pho. Must come back. 10/10
I did try Pho with beef slices and meatballs, I paid 20 dollars but what did I get? The beef broth is the most terrible I tried, and so expensive for just a small bowl of Pho, it just served with just some bean sprouts and basils. What I received was less than what I paid, and I was disappointed. Never be back.
First time there. Will definitely be back
