It was my step daughters birthday and after we left our dinner location we stopped here to have a few drinks before we went home. We haven’t been here in about a year. It was originally the acme hotel and I’m thinking after a sale and a few renovations.. selva emerged.. even better than ever.. we only stayed for about a hour.. but we had a great time.. I just wish we had more time but maybe next time..
I work at the at Waldorf hotel and tend to notice a few key things when dining out. So I might he a bit too rigid with my review. We went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. From the start we noticed the lack of people, but we decided to stay and make a night out of it. The server, Sebastian, seemed to be a bit frustrated and was rushing us. Wish they had a non-alcoholic section on the menu. Asked if they could make a non-alc cocktail and they said they could make a lemonade or something sweet. It’s 2024, we gotta be able to have more thoughtful/less childlike options than that ?
