Shelly's Tasty Freeze

The last time I was here is when i was a little 8 year old boy..I remember saving my money and comming to this place and getting the chocolate covered frozen Bananas...yum so good..and my favorite was the Cheese burger did I mention the Cheese burger was .55 cents lol.I lived on Carmen 2442 west to be exact my old house still stands there better than I as i am now 56 years old.all I have to say it was a pleasure to return to the place I remember and still has great food..Thanks...read full review

Neighborhood hotdog/ burger shop that seats only about 10 inside. Good fast food, very clean. Everything is prepared right behind the counter. Prices are slightly higher than say Mc Donald's. Open until 9 in case you are getting off work late and don't feel like cooking and just want a quick bite.

Stopped by this place because it reminded me of another "Freeze". I was greeted quickly, and I ordered a hot dog. The guy behind the counter offered up the two hot dog special. I normally only eat one hot dog when I'm doing my hot dog stroll. But he was really convincing and I took him up on it. The hot dog was good, but it was missing sport peppers and not a natural casing dog, Vienna Beef dogs are used which is a good thing. The fries were good. I decided to sit outdoors.
