An old-style elegance permeates the place. From the moment we walked in, they treated us like we were the only customers in the place. The 10 oz. fillet steak was the best I’ve had in a long time. If you’re a native Chicago resident, you need to ask yourself why you don’t eat here more often.
Ordered a steak rare. It came out tartare and cold. Asparagus even colder. No real flavor. Staff and service were amazing. Food was pretty meh. I ate less than half and hoped dessert would be redeeming. Crème Brûlée was alright. Best part of the meal was the coffee. Theres far better places to eat for less money.

Shula's Steak House in Chicago is a high-end steak house located at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk Hotel, offering an elegant and quiet atmosphere. The food is cooked with high-quality ingredients and prepared with care. The Mothers Day brunch buffet features a variety of options including prime rib, crab legs, omelettes, and French toast. The service is excellent, with staff treating guests like they are the only customers. The 10 oz. fillet steak is highly praised, considered one of the best by some diners. Appetizers such as the braised pork belly and Creole Shrimp are delicious, and main courses like the Atlantic Halibut and 28oz Tomahawk Ribeye are cooked perfectly and served with tasty sides like fluffy mashed potatoes and mixed mushrooms. Drinks like the makers old fashioned and French 75 are top-notch. Desserts, including the cream brûlée and cheesecake, are a perfect ending to the meal. The overall experience is great, and the restaurant is highly recommended, despite the high prices. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is elegant and quiet, making it a must-visit in Chicago.
