A bit pricey for what you got, but the server was friendly and the environment was nice. They say they're an English Pub, but no bitter on tap :(
Stopped into Monarch & Lion for lunch on a weekday, and we pretty much had the place to ourselves where there was only one other table occupied while we were there. The space itself is stunning, though. They nailed the ambiance with a great balance of upscale English charm and cozy pub vibes.

I had the mushroom pie and it was DELICIOUS. The bartender was amazing, attentive, entertaining, and a real bro. I visited on a Thursday afternoon around 5:30pm and it wasn't too busy. Great space, awesome bartender, delicious drinks, and excellent food. 10/10 will occupy a bar seat again.
