“This place is location is on Ogden Ave n Pulaski has no seating it’s take out only but the chicken is with Lea mom pepper and the fish is great breading I highly recommend recommend. Oh and the dessert fresh and homemade even carry the school butter cookies.“

“Captain Hook’s Fish & Chicken is so good and always hits the spot. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and just flat-out better than anywhere else. They’re always open when I need them, and the taste is consistently amazing every time. I literally drive 30 minutes just to come here, and that should tell you everything. I have a Sharks Fish & Chicken near my house and it does not compare at all. Captain Hook’s is on a whole different level.“

“Heard much about this place but was in Hyde Park (as opposed to their Pilsen site) area so made a stop to try assorted tacos.

Their starndard tacos has cilantro, julienned radishes and other garnishes. Their special tacos can pretty much add anything.

Their al pastor had that zesty pineapple with the spiced meat. And their carne asada was tender and had a really great chew on the charred meat.

Really enjoyed them both and also the pan cooked shrimp. It was plump and good bite and seasoned well.

Was not expecting porkbelly to be minced like it was in this taco. Usually, I prefer tender slim strips of crispy porkbelly in my taco. It was still a very well seasoned taco but a bit too overfilled with black beans. Not sure I would order this again.

Overall, very good tacos and the place is very well lit and the ambiance is inviting. Staff was friendly and work hard to accommodate their patrons.“
