I am a Chicago native, and enjoyed visiting Soul Prime for dinner during Chicago Black Restaurant Week. From the moment my group entered, we were greeted by the staff with smiles and the utmost professionalism. We were promptly seated, and our server was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu items. We tried the following opening acts: - Short Rib Street Tacos (very flavorful, although a little salty) - Fried Green Tomatoes (sliced nicely and the batter was delicious...
Had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The bisque was AMAZING, Catfish and Fried Chicken dinners were also fantastic. Chef Royce (owner ) stopped out to ask how we liked the meal. Talking to her was fantastic. The service was 1st class and this will be our “go to” spot especially when we have visitors from out of town. Neighborhood gem.
Some of the best food I've had and I'm from Houston where's there's a good food place within every 10 miles. Loved the service and Karen and Unique! They were a great beginning to my weekend. Definitely coming back
