Overpriced! Every single drink here is noticeably more expensive than regular Starbucks stores.
What’s even more unreasonable is that when I ordered a Pink Drink and asked for light base (meaning less syrup/juice), they charged me an extra $1.15 for a “customization.” The store manager even told me that if I had a problem, I could “write to corporate.”
I could live with higher prices if that’s just how the licensed store operates, but the quality control is unacceptable. I ordered a Honey Citrus Mint Tea and was given a plain mint tea bag in hot water. When I brought it back, instead of making a new drink with a fresh tea bag, they poured out the water and added honey citrus mix to the same used tea bag.
That’s ridiculous and totally unacceptable for a place carrying the Starbucks name.

Starbucks at Navy Pier in Chicago offers the perfect coffee break with a view! The drinks are as amazing as ever, from classic lattes to refreshing cold brews. You can sip your favorite coffee while enjoying the scenic lakefront. The ambience is cozy yet vibrant—ideal for relaxing, people-watching, or catching up with friends by the water.

Had a terrible experience here today… particularly with a young Hispanic girl. We went to a bubble tea place for my mom and I wanted a strawberry açaí lemonade, my mom put her boba tea on the display while she took out her wallet to pay because she wanted to treat me, we didn’t even notice when this employee took my moms bubble tea that she had only sipped on two times and threw it in the trash. My mom turned and said: where is my drink? And the girl said: “well we have to keep our store clean so I threw it away” in a rude tone. I asked for the manager and my money back. She went for the manager and came back laughing. Thankful the manager was super kind and understanding and went with me to the bubble tea shop to buy us a new one. If I see this girl here again I’m not going back.

The staff here were rude and unprofessional. When I approached the register, the cashier was playing a game on her phone and kept me waiting until she finished before acknowledging me. There was no greeting or acknowledgment of my presence.
I asked for an everything bagel and was told, “We don’t have everything bagel.” When I asked what was available, the only response was, “Plain bagel,” which I ordered. At no point did she confirm my order, ask if I needed anything else, or show basic courtesy.
This feedback is mainly for management: consider setting clearer expectations of approximate customer service and providing better training for your staff.

I had one of the worst experiences at this Starbucks. The staff girls were extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, they spoke with attitude and made me feel very uncomfortable. Customer service should be about respect and kindness, but this location failed completely. I will not return and would not recommend this store to anyone.

My experience with Daniella was surreal. I wanted a drink, unsure of what the menu even is. She knew exactly what I craved to a T, and even explained the sizing. She put so much love and attention to detail into my beverage, even when they were busy.
I was at the pier and noticed they had this Starbucks. The line was very long but the employees were quick to take orders and get them made. I had a kind girl named Daniella get my order and make it. I got a grande ice matcha with four pumps of horchata and extra whipped cream. She was quick to make my drink and I noticed other employees were also quick to make drinks sometimes making more than one at a time. Great service! Pricey but worth it.

Beware! The posted price for a grande ice coffee is $4.95 but she rang it up for $5.75. I asked why the discrepancy and she at first said it was because of taxes. I said, Chicago has 20% tax? She just shrugged her shoulders and said that they weren’t an official Starbucks. I told her that it is illegal to overcharge the advertised price and she just said she couldn’t do anything about it. No manager was present.

I stopped for some food at 11 AM. There was literally 60-70% of the menu that was not present. Starbucks let me place a mobile order for the items on their app and then denied that they don't have the items when I came to pickup. I didn't expect this service from Starbucks, a place regarded worldwide.
