Lovely service. Lovely staff. The only things that get it a small ding are the hash browns being under salted and I wasn’t a fan of the pancakes honestly but those eggs Benedict were amazing!

Found this hidden gem & I'm so happy my friends & I went to have birthday brunch. The atmosphere was great, all the workers including our waitress Celine were very welcoming & very attentive. The food was beyond delicious & reasonably priced, The staff even surprised the bday girls with a bday pancake and sang happy birthday which was very much appreciated. The fact that this breakfast/brunch restaurant is BYOB makes it top of my list.. I definitely recommend and I will be visiting more often 😊 My friends & I agreed to meet at least once a month for breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe.

The reviews are great. I might have just picked the worst dish available. I had the huevos rancheros. The sauce tasted like the jar of sauce from tostitos and the beans and rice were flavorless. Very disappointing. The burrito might have been the way to go. Service was good though.

10min for take out at 11:30 on Saturday morning and great meat-free country gravy! Next time I might stay and eat at the breakfast bar in the back. Great place!

I mean who has the BEST pancakes in the area - I go nowhere else for them. Honestly everything here homemade and is so delicious. Very unassuming surroundings but you won't be disappointed!! (Check out the back patio too).

Very disappointed in the portions size of the breakfast burrito. Not worth the $14 you pay for this and a small rice and beans.

I love this place. Every time I'm feeling down I go down the street to the Sunrise Cafe and it makes everything alright. The staff is so friendly, warm, and prompt, and there's a really homey, familial atmosphere. The food is top-notch and the prices can't be beat! A little bit of their coffee and chicken noodle soup will heal any wound. Add in the attentive, quick service and this may be the best breakfast spot in town.

I love Sunrise Cafe I have been going there for years and not once have they let me down, their food is always really good and their coffee is probably one of the best I’ve ever had. If you need affordable and actually good food you need to go to sunrise cafe at 2012 w Chicago
