I've been going to this taqueria since it opened, back in the 80s. Love the tacos, sopes, and tortas! Mom gets the caldo de res, I can only describe it as a beef stew, but not a thick sauce. That's my go to taco place and always recommend it.
Customer service wasn't the greatest. Tried to order in Spanish and the women taking my order seemed a bit annoyed and wasn't really paying attention. Just not the friendliest. And she asked me multiple times if I wanted lettuce and tomato on my tacos, which is an interesting assumption to make especially since I know it's not the default and I had already asked for cilantro and onions.Tacos were pretty good though. Literally the best place for authentic tacos. The flavor of the steak is unrivaled. But not only is the flavor amazing, the steak is cooked just right where it has some crisp to it. Whenever someone asks where to get tacos, I always recommend this place and I always will.
