I recently visited this restaurant after attending the Argyle Night Market, and unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed. While the food itself was ok, the issue arose when it came time to pay the bill.
To my surprise, the check included an automatic 18% gratuity charge. At first, I assumed I had overlooked a notice, but after checking the menu, the door signage, and even the restaurant’s online listings, there was no mention of such a policy. When I asked the server, I was told this charge is added “on busy days.” This explanation did not make sense, as nothing about this policy was communicated to customers beforehand.

When I raised my concern with the manager, his response was dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than addressing the lack of transparency, he repeatedly said things like, “Then don’t pay us” and implied that refusing to pay the charge meant I didn’t want to “help” the staff. He said “okay if you don’t want to help us” This type of passive-aggressive guilt-tripping is unacceptable to me. On top of that, the receipt still included a blank tip line, which could easily mislead diners into double-tipping without realizing an automatic gratuity had already been added.

After further discussion, I was eventually given a cash refund for the added gratuity, but the interaction with both the manager and the front desk staff felt unnecessarily curt and unkind.

I understand that restaurants sometimes add service charges, but these must be clearly disclosed in advance on the menu, at the entrance, or verbally before ordering. Adding hidden charges and then making the guest feel guilty for questioning them is not good practice.

In my view, this was not about supporting staff but rather about poor communication and a lack of respect for the customer. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reconsiders how it handles gratuity charges in the future.

I’ve ordered from here on Uber Eats a few times now. The food always gets made pretty quickly. It’s the best green curry I’ve found in the city! Everything I’ve ordered from here has tasted awesome and feels like it was made with high quality ingredients. This is gonna be my go-to Thai takeout spot now!

Bad and bad, their customer service is really bad, very sassy and rude, and also i feels like they talk shit about us too but in their language.

The food is really bad so we cannot finish it. Also, we just ask them for napkins while, they’re bringing us hot sauce and they just got really mad at us for asking.

I will not go back to this place. We order chicken panang curry and it didn’t come with ckn. It was just the sauce and red bell pepper and a lot of basil leaves. Portion is small and pastry is not freshly made. Stuffed ckn wings didn’t included sauce as stated it would. Very disappointing.

AMAZING! I got the eggplant basil with tofu and my boyfriend got the yellow curry with chicken. It was so good. I meant to take pictures before but it was so good we forgot. Also our waitress was amazing and all of the staff were so kind. Would definitely recommend!!!

This place runs 3 or 4 restaurants on Ubereats out of 1 kitchen, but it DOES NOT PREPARE WHAT YOU ORDER, OUTSIDE OF THE STANDARD "Thai Pastry" restaunt menu. I ordered from the "THAI THAI THAI" restaurant menu, and my KABOOM! PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE (even says it on the receipt!) was supposed to come with 6 ingredients and it only came with 3. It was missing cashews, carrots, and peas. When i called the restaurant, the OWNER argued that even though he understands there's 3 different restaurants, and i ordered from a specifc one, they only make the dish 1 way, not 3 different ways. He doesn't offer to re-deliver, or refund any portion of the meal. He closes with "is that all you need?"
Hope you like what you order, cuz this place doesn't care if you don't!

My wife and I are from Asian background. And we felt that we were treated differently by the waitress compared to other tables with people from European descend. Everyone should be treated better, fairly, and equally.

Topping that, the waitress was extremely rude to us, the food was very expensive and not of good quality (it was a rip off!), and the mango-sticky-rice dessert I ordered was drenched in condensed milk (it felt like eating syrup).

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Thank you.

Vegetarian options: It was hard to know which dishes were vegetarian.

We ordered fried tofu dish, and they served us 8 very small pieces of fried, bland tofu, served with sweet chilli sauce on the side. The dish was $8.95—it was a complete rip off.

The waitress was very indifferent and sometimes very rude.

We ordered a dessert: sticky rice with mango. And it was poured with condensed milk all over, barely leaving any taste of the sticky rice or mango. Generally, the dish is served with coconut milk not condensed milk.

I’d not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Vegetarian options: Not clearly stated.

I paid $7 for a cup of Thai ice coffee to go and it’s the worst one i had so far. It’s extremely sweet, they put half and half instead of condensed milk, and the flavor is just wrong. Had to throw away after only few sip

Don’t recommend it. I have ordered Boat Soup with beef. Meatballs taste like they’re made of soy meat or not meat at all. The actual beef meat has SUPER weird taste and texture. I feel like it was frozen and then melted multiple times. I took it out hoping if I mix it with some sauce it’ll be better, but no.

The waiter/cashier is also weird. She asked me if everything is okay and I told her about the meat issue. Then I thought someone might come over to my table and talk about it. Nope. She just went back to the kitchen. Nice ?

Go somewhere else. A lot of options are available around.
