The Allis Chicago Reviews
Couldn’t do afternoon tea was advised I was supposed to book it on OpenTable however I called & was told since the whole table was not participating I could just ask for it when I get there nevertheless we participated in brunch. I had the eggs + sourdough bread & hash browns which was really good & croissant ( needs to be heated up ) & we all had tea ✨
Beautiful cafe inside a hotel. Our first time and didn’t encounter any bad service as stated in lots of reviews… everyone was kind we arrived few minutes before they close for their breakfast time yet they were kind enough to let us order breakfast. Their salmon bagel plate was very filling. Breakfast sandwich was very flavourful. The place have different seating areas.. we enjoyed our breakfast time here
E was amazing!!! So funny, I love her so much! Food was amazing, service was 100/10!

The Allis, located within Chicago's SoHo House, offers a charming dining experience with delicious food and friendly service. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, making it suitable for various occasions, from brunch to evening cocktails. The space is beautifully designed, providing a comfortable setting that invites conversation and relaxation. While the food and cocktails are well-prepared and nicely presented, they tend to be sweeter rather than savory, with highlights like the eggplant dip, charred artichokes, and steak frites praised by guests.
The brunch menu is particularly popular, featuring dishes like Shashuka and avocado toast with poached egg, which are enjoyed for their taste and presentation. Customers also appreciate the quick service and the cozy ambiance, making it a good spot for remote work during quieter times. The restaurant offers reservation options and a variety of drinks such as the frose, which receives high praise, and tasty salads like the chicken and bacon salad with honey mustard vinaigrette, avocado, and cheddar cheese.
Service at The Allis is attentive and accommodating, especially for larger groups or celebrations like Afternoon Tea, where the setup and finger sandwiches receive compliments. Overall, the restaurant combines stylish design, warm atmosphere, and satisfying food, with friendly staff making every visit enjoyable. However, there have been occasional issues, such as burnt bagels served with the salmon tower, but these do not overshadow the overall positive experience.
