Hi All,
Fat Shallot is by far one of the best spots to pick up lunch downtown.
The sandwiches are all excellent, especially the Truffle BLTs and the Buffalo Chicken - they are just overflowing with goodness! :)
The fries are great too, especially the spicy sesame ones.
I think the only thing that matches the food quality is the friendliness and speed of the team - they are great to chat with while delivering orders with speed and accuracy.
If you haven't tried Fat Shallot in the Sterling Food Hall, I highly recommend it!

Was visiting from out of country and literally got lunch here 3 times. The truffle BLT is light, flavourful and so good. Great service, always fresh and highly recommend.

The Ruben was fantastic. The pickle was very good. The blta was good but not great. We were told not to bother with the fries. Revival hall is nice with a lot of choices.

Overall very, very good. Food was well-prepared and flavorful. The corned beef was tender and very tasty. The Spicy-sesame fries were flavorful but could used a bit more sauce (maybe on the side?). However, overall the portions are plentiful. Service took awhile (I think they were shorthanded). Although it is abit pricey, the portions and flavor provided a good value. I'll be back!

I ordered a Reuben for lunch. The sandwich was excellent. As you can see in the picture, the corned beef was very thick cut, which is unusual. However, it was still flavorful and tasty. I could have used more sauce and sauerkraut, but overall, it was delicious and filling. I guess the good thing about not having too much sauce is the bread doesn’t get soggy.

Truffle BLT was outstanding! One of the best sandwiches I have had. It really hit the spot. The quality and quantity is probably the best bang for your buck in Chicago. And to all the foodies out there. Arugula, tomato, avocado, tons of bacon, and truffle aoli! They serve this in heaven.

Delicious Rueben. Highly recommend trying this spot inside Revival Food Hall.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can get a grilled cheese.
