Stopped by Harry’s Hamburgs today with my one-year-old daughter, who is, frankly, a freeloader. I got a double with everything plus American cheese, she got a single, and the food showed up FAST. Suspiciously fast. Like they knew I was coming fast. High quality ingredients, super fresh, and just really really good. It’s giving Five Guys, but like Five Guys came back from a soul-searching trip abroad and got its life together.

I’ve been exploring different lunch spots whenever I’m in the office. On this particular day, I had no idea what I wanted to eat, so I walked over to the food hall and decided to try Harry’s because their fish sandwich caught my eye.

Checked out Harry’s Hamburgs for lunch after hearing people talk it up and honestly it lived up to the hype. Got the double smashburger, fries, and a chocolate shake around 1pm. Burger had that crispy edge with the perfect amount of grease, fries were fresh, and the shake was thick enough to slow you down a little lol. Feels like an old-school Chicago burger joint but cleaner and way more dialed in.

The atmosphere feels like an old-school Chicago burger joint but cleaner and more dialed in, perfect for sitting down to relax and catch up. A suggestion for the menu is adding something sweet.
