This is first visit to Corner Bakery in Chicago. After arrived at United States from Japan, I searched around breakfast and found this Bakery. I asked employee’s recommendations and she recommended “Anaheim Scramble “. The dish was delicious and suitable for not good condition stomach because of twelve hours flight from Japan?. The employee’s attitude was very kind. I’d like to go there again.
This location has seen better days. Bathroom was missing parts and the tp was hanging from the door by a garbage bag. No garbage cans to be found in the restaurant so we had to leave our things at the table as many others had also done. When the tables were cleared they weren't cleaned. Otherwise food and service was fine and consistent with corner bakery.

The associate at the register was so kind. She helped me redeem my birthday free treat. I got the seasonal pumpkin muffin. The muffin hot the spot. The restaurant is clean. I was shocked how quiet it was in the mid morning.
