It is a beautiful room that is quiet and comfortable. You do not get rushed and the food is good.
Absolutely fabulous luncheon with my sisters! Wonderful menu selections, very attentive and kind staff, with an awesome setting! Can't wait to go back!
My daughter had brought her doll with her, and she was talking to it during our visit. A staff member named Negin noticed this and kindly poured water for us — and even brought a small glass of water for my daughter’s doll as well. She asked my daughter the doll’s name and expressed genuine happiness, saying that the doll was a special guest of the hotel.
This level of attention to a child’s emotions in a restaurant setting is truly admirable and deserves respect. I felt it was important to share this beautiful experience here, because gestures like this make guests feel truly special and create a warm, memorable atmosphere that sets a place apart.

The Lobby is now my favorite place. It's beautiful, elegant, and yet the menu is affordable if you choose carefully. It's QUIET, and comfortable. The food and the service are impeccable. We stayed for a long time last night and never felt any pressure to “move on,” the kind you experience at other highly rated restaurants. The view is also fabulous.
I used to love breakfast here and now it's just ok. The food is nothing special and the prices are high. Wish it would be like it used to be.
We had the holiday tea with champagne and it was terrific. It was however very heavy and while we normally can take quite a bit of lactose, we struggled in the end so be sure to have some lactose pills if you are slightly lactose intolerant just in case. Of course, they did ask if we had any dietary restrictions but we wanted to try it without any modifications so that's on us. The ambience is amazing with live music playing from the balcony and the service was impeccable.

We had the afternoon tea.
It was perhaps a once in a long time experience because of the price. It was nice to experience the elegance during the holiday season
The decor and the live music was great

Very rude communication, spoke with lady Hanna. Didn’t expect this style of communication from 5 start hotel
I shared Christmas tea with my three sisters yesterday at the Peninsula. Very, very disappointed. We also went last year and I had hoped to make this an annual tradition. We had the four thirty seating. The bread on the finger sandwiches was so dried out, I have to believe they had been sitting out all day. The rest of the food didn’t really wow. At $200+ per person, I expected more. Needless to say, our tradition will have to continue elsewhere.

The Peninsula is always a good choice. The food is good and the bonus is you can actually talk with your table mates without having to shout over the din that most restaurants seem to have. It's great for any meal!
The room looked lovely Our original reservation was for 7:45 Open table showed nothing earlier Calling the hotel we got a seven pm When we arrived half the room was empty Open table was totally inaccurate The service was slow. I asked for my friend and I to share the salmon and the waiter assured us that the plate would be divided in the kitchen It was not I was served a full e tree and she received nothing By the time we for a second plate with no serving utensils I had to use two knives to give her half the salmon which was already cold The bread was amazing I asked for a very light gin and tonic First one good Second one full of gin. Make me sick at the first sip Trying to get the table cleared of the used bread plates and wrong drink was annoying Trying to get the dinner right was bolloxed up. Three served one not Shameful. The lobby should have a bench for it took twenty minutes to get the car Disorganized valet Lower Level staff serving
I read an article online that it was the best decorated hotel in Chicago for Xmas. The article did NOT say it wasn't decorated until after Thanksgiving so very expensive lunch for no reason
Amazing! By amazing recommendation, I ordered the Penedict. Incredibly delicious- I highly recommend it. The team here was also incredibly welcoming, professional and kind. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be back!
