Consistently great food in a quiet, casual, comfortable setting. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and the chef is open to create new dishes. Always a favorite 'go-to!'
This was a first time visit. Classic, Chicago Italian restaurant feel that is warm and inviting. The place was packed so the volume is high, but that's to be expected. Lively atmosphere. Service was a bit slow to start but then they found their groove. Very good cocktails and food. They are very accustomed to a pre-theater crowd so this worked perfectly. Looking forward to trying the patio this summer.
Always such a good experience Had the eggplant ricotta appetizer, minestrone, escarole sausage with garlic All delicious, once you dine here you'll definitely return. Consistency of quality is impressive.
