Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Chicago

“Pros:
Christian, the cashier who took my order was a delight.
The smoothie was delicious.
There was a lovely picture of an avocado on the wall.
Cons:
All of the seating was made exclusively from metal, which isn’t the most comfortable.“

“My husband and I come here all the time since it’s close to our home, and we always have a great experience! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the smoothies are always delicious. It’s our go-to spot when we want something refreshing. Highly recommend!“

“I never go to smoothie places, but earlier this week I had my wisdom teeth removed and was needing something besides mashed potatoes and soft pasta. The employees may or may not have taken pity on me because I mentioned this lol but they were so kind about my customizations and it was exactly what my sore teeth needed. Thanks guys!“

“I would like to say amazing job from the workers, the service was immaculate, when I order from this location, on the uber eats app, I didn’t expect it to come so fast, and protein smoothies was so good, I had got a 2 of them with protein and energizer, they helped a lot with moving furniture fast, and to regain my energy, and it helped with working out at the gym afterwards, I will order again“

“I really like Tropical Smoothie in Gurnee! The smoothies are fresh, flavorful, and there are so many great options to choose from — the Bahama Mama and Sunrise Sunset are my go-tos. The food is solid too; I’ve tried a few of the wraps and flatbreads and they’ve all been tasty and made to order.

The place is clean, the service is usually fast, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a great stop whether you’re looking for something refreshing or a quick meal that feels a little healthier.

The only downside is the price — it can get a bit expensive, especially if you’re grabbing both a smoothie and food. But overall, it’s worth it for the quality and convenience. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area!“
