Great food and a very attractive restaurant. Everything was really good once it came. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. When we brought this to the attention of the server and manager they barely acknowledge it. No explanation and a very weak apology. They appeared to be very understaffed and poorly organized.

Beautiful atmosphere and amazing drinks for dinner. I had my very 1st oyster experience here and my wonderful bartender walked me through the process of eating them. They were amazing and fresh.
I also took my friend here for breakfast for her birthday who is a vegan and they had amazing options for her and she also enjoyed it.

Food was good, limited menu the drinks were ok. I love the hotel and ambiance. I believe they have a brunch, will be going back to see how it is.

Great spot for a date! Whether a quick lunch date or cute romantic afternoon date.

For the area and atmosphere the prices aren’t too bad
The menu is to the point
My food was fresh. You can tell it wasn’t cooked in old grease or sitting in the window for long.
The fish was cooked hard without being dry and overcooked so kudos to the chef on that

This spot will surprise you with warmth and sophistication. If you like a hearth....they have it.

Just tried to go, sign on sidewalk says open but door is locked and no one inside. Other groups tried to go too. It's freezing out very annoying. 1:20pm on Fri Jan 3

I had the smoked & poached salmon pate, and it was really good. (Strong 8) The salad and dressing were also good but small. (8) The Zombie Dust pale ale was better than expected. (9) Our waiter, Ceasar, was on point with attentiveness and recommendations. Comfortable atmosphere with a fireplace. I'll be back😁

Annoyingly dysfunctional place. We ordered 4 dishes. Two arrives promptly, and 2 didn’t arrive at all for a good 35 mins. One of them they just forgot to make, the other just arrived late for no clear reason. Server was a nice guy and tired to be helpful. This is not the first time this happens to us here.

The decor is nice. It's connected to a hotel on the U of C campus. I really like the seats at the bar because they are large enough to fit people. My friend and I sat at the bar. During the week they do not start selling alcohol until 10am. We went for breakfast. The menu is English themed. I had a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. My friend really enjoyed her food. Levi and Eazy were impeccable. They are acute reason I gave 4 stars. To me the food was just ok 3/5 stars. I will have to go back and try their brunch on the weekend and lunch/dinner menu.

Love, love, LoveD! My family went on a day trip and randomly found this restaurant on Google. This restaurant was ,surprisingly, a highlight of our trip. The ambiance was extraordinary! The staff was excellent! The food was perfect. Honey! The breakfast Drinks were A+. My cousin swears that was the best Long Island had in 40 years.

The place is very nice, but the service is terrible. They treated my husband and I as if we were homeless and had no money and were begging. The waitress saw us come in and started cleaning the tables. Another waiter who was at the bar in front came in with two couples, sat them down and gave them their menu. He saw us and ignored us (when we came in, the waiter was not there). The girl, after cleaning the tables and talking to one of the tables that had arrived, went to us and practically threw the menu at us. For my first time in this hotel cafeteria, I have my condolences. In this city, racism is one A. Terrible, terrible service.
