I like the atmosphere, the staff are nice. I had the tuna bowl and it was delicious and enormous and very fresh.
Update after second visit: the Cesar salad is likely the best I have ever had in my life. How do I make my homemade caesar dressing taste like that? Also, the staff are truly so great.

The food and wine were excellent- service would also have received 5 stars if we didn’t have to wait- if you have an issue- look for Mr Richard - he’ll help. He was kind, listened and made things right

BARDAVID offers a beautiful, modern space with indoor and outdoor seating along the midway plaisance. The outdoor area is not in direct sunlight, is far from the street, and has ample greenery. The restaurant is Mediterranean‑inspired, serving fresh and flavorful dishes, and also features a great Wagyu beef hamburger and fries. The burger is usually double patty, a good value, and on special nights a single patty comes with a complimentary beer. The beer was a pilsner from Moor’s Beer, a black owned brewery, and paired well with the burger. Service is attentive but a bit slow at times. The atmosphere is classy, elegant, and cozy, and happy hour on Wednesdays is excellent. The crowd is mostly older, mature, and professional, and the place is quiet and a good upscale option in Hyde Park.
