Had appetizers and drinks here Saturday evening Feb 7. The place reminded me of Vue on Cermak. It's not a place for dinner, "a meal". It's a great date spot. The hennessy sidecar car was made well. We had the burger and some wings. Both were really good. The server we had was not personable at all. She didn't introduce herself. She had short dark hair with tattoos. One of the best old fashions I have had (it came with an orange peel and a fig) and the vibes were on-point (you can't go wrong with stacks of books all around you). The menu was short but everything was really sumptuous and well-crafted--from the burger to the mushroom soup. Admittedly, I did not try the fries, but they did look good!
Awesome vibe, good for business or lil formal post dinner drinks. Great drinks, awesome collection of whiskey and bourbon and everything else. Just one waiter was little difficult, else, everything was amazing.
