“Whenever I rarely go out to ramen restaurants, I end up getting full and finishing my meal. Yet, this restaurant made my expectations skyrocket. The chicken ramen had various flavors while the broth had a bit of spice to it (no problem for me honestly). The spicy szechuan wings were unrelated to the average spicy wings. They were genuinely spicy from the tip of your tongue to mouth. The chicken and vegetable gyoza tasted good but the accompanying sauce clashed with it. At the end of it, there was a QR code to either pay the bill in full or spilt it. Would recommend and will bring my friend from Virginia here.“

“I like Whiskey Girl! We can watch the WNBA and Unrivaled there with the sound ON. The food is good, and the folks who work there are very sweet. One person was particularly welcoming to us, we later found out that was the owner!

Parking: there is a lot in the back with a few free spaces if you can get there early!“

“It's a good bar, the staff is friendly and respectful.

They make a taste Moscow Mule. It was packed which is the only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars. If you like a crowded place it's 5 out 5, they have a couple outside tables.

The crowd was playful , warm spirited.

“Pretzel bites and Chicken tenders. Chicken was awesome. Pretzel bites were overcooked. Server was friendly. Disappointed that they added a tip without telling me, I tipped again, so I guess that was their plan all along.

Kid-friendliness: No recommend for kids.“

“Came here with 7 people and they seated us immediately. The waitress was very nice! We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a round of shots on the house. I had the margarita and it was tasty, but a few others did not like their drinks. I believe it was the wine. We ordered a lot of different food and overall it was okay. The loaded fries were very good, it had tons of brisket. Someone ordered the macaroni and cheese brisket and there were literally like 3 pieces of brisket on it which clearly wasn’t proportioned right. I ordered a burger and it was a double patty. One of the patties was very very red. I don’t know if it was the lighting but compared to the other patty which looked about medium well, the other one was bloody red. I did not eat it. I know people come for bbq not burgers so if I came back I definitely would not get that again. We did split the check per person on their new online payment system which had issues. The total shown plus tip was not adding up right so you had to do the math in your head and trust it was gonna be what’s charged. Overall it was a good experience.“

“Bourbon on Division is the heart of Division Street. Beyond its gruff exterior (metaphorically), it boasts some of the most eclectic variety of live music and amazing DJ's in all of Chicago. I've met some of the best people in my life there. Management all the way down to security create a fun safe environment. Also 5 stars for the bartending tonight on Emo night. Chris and Krue were great!“

“We visited CBR, the restaurant at the Royal Sonesta, and had an unforgettable experience! Although we arrived just after the breakfast menu had closed, our waiter, along with the manager and chef, truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. Edgar and Augie provided exceptional service, even taking the time to reheat the waffle maker just for us. The food was fantastic—we enjoyed the Nutella Waffles, Classic Breakfast, and a Burger. I highly recommend this place!“

Oh, Who am I kidding... on MANY frequent nights we visit District House, one of our favorite watering holes. The reason we love this place is because the place is nice and modern with a nice comfy decor, they have an EXCELLENT whiskey and bourbon selection amongst all other spirits, but mostly because of the SERVICE!
The staff, from the owner to each of the bartenders, they treat you like a long time friend. The drinks pack a punch and the ambiance is always upbeat. They strive to provide different events weekly and even nightly and for every mood.
They also have a back patio for private parties or you can host your event inside.
This place is just great, but Uber since parking is street parking and common sense dictates you should.

“I went here for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer popup, and it was fun. The decor was great and a lot of people came in theme costumes. There were lots of places to take pictures. The pathway to the roof was really tight with a lot of people waiting at the bar and tables on the other side. It took a while to make it through the crowd going both ways. They ran out of one of the specialty cocktails pretty early, and it was hard to drink the blood bag cocktail. It seemed like there weren't enough bartenders. That being said, it was a unique experience that was worth going to.“

“our waitress V was very friendly. it was our first time apparently just reopened a month and a half ago.
the vibe of the customers is friendly too, music was VERY dancey and loud, nice current and throwback hits. like cool black vibes overall, but most people are just there to sip on their drink and chat with their people (in a booth tho you will yell to talk to your friends). some people dancing after like 12am but we got up for the right song here and there before that, more of a dance in your seat kinda place overall so I wish the music was a lilll less loud.

i think most cocktails ~$15, strong drinks. apparently the happy hour is great.“
