“I went to The Vets for the first time Friday, July 2nd. Such a fun place!!! Great bartender, Kristin!!!! She's quick and funny and everything you want to keep a bar full and happy!!!! Very, very clean place!!! All the work they have done is amazing!!! The back patio looks like it is going to be THE place to hang out!!! Beautiful facility!!!! I live several hours away, but hope to come back soon!!!“

“My boyfriend and I stayed for a few nights at the hotel that’s connected to Manny’s. They have happy hour on select beer for 4-6, the best prices in town on drinks, slots, pool, and great customer service. Lindsey took care of us all night, and did a great job doing so. The place is super clean and taken care of. They currently don’t offer food, but have some great suggestions on food nearby. We loved the atmosphere, and plan on coming back!“

Special thank you to thw gentleman that was checking on us to make sure everything was okay and to the gentleman that went and got the kids, kid pool sticks for them to play!!! “My absolute favorite hangout spot! Although I did not get good service Saturday night when I was there the bartender was very rude and short with customers and kept complaining in front of her customers. There were also others complaining about her and how they were not satisfied with the service or the drinks.“

“Found this by accident. Reasonable drinks and food. Feels like a bar and restaurant that's been there a while. Nothing brand new or fancy but people were very friendly. My husband would definitely go back for their wings. I had gumbo and sandwich and they were yummy.“

“We went for lunch and grabbed 3 tacos and the supposedly potato skins. It was nasty, you couldn't chew the steak or chicken and the potatoes were raw covered in nasty cheese. I have always enjoyed tres but won't spend another dime in the place. It gets a big fat zero rating.“

“Wow, I can't believe this place is still open. It has probably been over 25 years since I visited this place. It was a dive bar on one side, and a strip club on the other side. But lol, they have probably remodeled the place since the last time I was there. I never actually went to the strip club side though, lol. I woukd just go to the regular side, with just a bar, and a pool table, to play a few games of pool. It might be completely different then the way I remember it though. I rarely went there, to be honest, but a lot of my old friends visited the strip club, and talked about it. But anyways, it is so cool to see that this place is still open. I was born and raised on Carbondale, and this place just brings back memories. Long live JB's. Hope everyone around there is doing well.“
