“It's Egg Harbor! Quality across locations is notoriously consistent. Good and interesting food selection, with stellar staples and a rotating menu of specials, plus periodic changes to their main menu.I have enjoyed Egg Harbor in other locations for decades and I have no complaints about this one. Staff is persistent cheery and imminently friendly. Food and ingredient quality is consistent and always on par with other quality brunch joints. You won't necessarily find the most experimental items in the world here, but they do push out some interesting specials.Prices aren't cheap, but always on per with restaurants of similar quality and actually have not increased as massively as others with inflation. They treat their staff notoriously well and I have personally seen a guy I like go from a busboy with low English competency to a floor manager. Gotta love that.Dietary restrictions: The staff is ready and quite willing to adjust menu items to accommodate any dietary restrictions they can. They aren't heavily focused on this and probably can't, for instance, guarantee they've eradicated all traces of gluten from most meals, but they are glad to do what they can with no stress.Parking: The parking lot is a bit of a pain to navigate due to its design, but you can park both in the front and back and you'll never find yourself lacking.Kid-friendliness: Egg Harbor is Notoriously kid friendly. I can't speak for kids who behave catastrophically poorly, but I went to another location for most of my childhood and they were both kind and accommodating.“
“I have been a fanatic of Egg Harbor from the start. My husband and I would go anywhere from one to four times during the week and there either Saturday, Sunday, and even sometimes even both days just for the green chilaquiles. We now only go once in a while. Please bring back your green chilaquiles!“
“my mom has been eating at this restaurant since she was younger. If I’m not mistaken her old friends father owned the place. But I’ve been coming here practically since I was born (24 now) and the food has always been excellent. I’m surprised I haven’t tried any lunch items yet but their breakfast has always been amazing!!“
“This little diner packs a punch when it comes to authentic mexican flavors and menu items. Today we had the birria soup and I added birria meat (tender beef) to my eggs and it was fantastic. The flavors in this hearty soup are what wintery days call for. (it comes w/ chopped cilantro and onion on the side to add for texture and flavor) Pauline, our waitress, suggested tacos on the side to dip in the soup and she clearly knew what she was talking about. It was difficult to choose as there are several specialty items to choose from. There are also the family favorites of pancakes and bacon, etc for those wanting a traditional breakfast. I love the feel of this diner and the service is outstanding. Leave your heels at home, and come enjoy an affordable meal out.“
“They're great over there. If you drive thru Highland Park you have to try it. If you live there you should be going there at least once a week. They never disappoint. I just had the best omelet of my life.I wish they made their own jam, but they make their own hot sauce at least. They work well under pressure as well. I will always come here if I'm in the burbs“
“What a gem! We were looking for a replacement for our previous weekend breakfast spot and this place is an absolute winner! We went on a Sunday a little after noon and found seating for 5 with no issues. The menu has so many varieties of skillets and French toast, I high recommend the Denver and lumberjack skillets. Everything was fresh and just delicious. Great coffee also and reasonably priced.Give it a try you won’t be sorry! We plan on going again and again!“
“What a great experience me and my wife had in this fantastic Restaurant. I truly can say: Best chilaquiles in town. They offer an automatic and authentic Cafe de olla and amazing French toast alternatives. Great, well presented and tasty food plus an awesome service and atmosphere is something hard to find, well Plenty of Huevos is the place.“
“It turned out to be an excellent place to have breakfast/lunch with a friend you haven't seen in a while. Staff did not hustle us out when the meal was finished. Friendly sevice. Extensive menu.Parking was limited. It's in a busy business area on a well-traveled street. Food was okay--not exciting but not bad. I wouldn't return for the food, but I would return for a clean, centralized meeting place.“
“If you're looking for a place that's comfortable, with great service and delicious food, Golden Brunch fits the bill. They have always accommodated our groups when we dine, and the owners are great. Just had a surprise visit from our daughter and grandsons, and they assisted with surprising their aunt/uncle. Prices are reasonable. We enjoy the restaurant.“
“Here for brunch @ noon. Seated promptly, everyone was kind, the table was set and clean. The 360 fireplace is a nice touch, just watch the step up/down in that area. Service was quick, order accurate and a small pot of coffee was left at the table.“
“Nice atmosphere, excellent service, and good prices/value. Not a ton of savory vegetarian options. Most meat free stuff are the super sugary items. Also, the coffee situation is in desperate need of an upgrade. Tasted like nothing, it was just hot brown water.“
“This place is amazing not only the food like my favorites chocolate chip cookies or thelemon poppyseed scone but also the staff is so kind and friendly that I wish I lived closer so I can come here everyday. My favorite coffee shop for sure!“
“Breakfast at 11:00! Yes! Love a Sunday late breakfast! This is the place to go for breakfast! I haven't tried their lunches yet. My breakfast was a veggies skillet. The potatoes were the best I've ever had, nicely seasoned and crispy. Veggies included were spinach, “
