“The karaoke on Sunday is a lot of fun! The man who runs it has a lot of music! In the beginning if it is slow he will let people do a few songs in a row. But he is also very fair. So once it’s getting busy he will space it out and get everyone in but I have never been to a place that would allow that. He is a great singer himself so I guess he enjoys taking care of people and allowing them to warm up when it’s slow. That’s cool! And the people who come are damn good singers and nice. There are no divas here but some damn good talent. A rare gem!“

“We loved the ambiance of this Irish Pub! The Christmas decor and lights make it a wonderland! The band was great and the pub has so much charm!

This all made up for the 3 bartenders who were more worried about talking to their friends than waiting on customers. We waited 20 min, as did customers next to us, staff looked right at us and kept talking to their friends. A bartender with curly hair- she actually scowled at us for asking to place a drink order. Exception was one bartender who had very long straight dark brown hair: she was awesome and was doing all of the others work with a huge smile on her face! She was great! It was a busy night that the restaurant could have had higher cash flow if the others focused on drink orders. We'll be back though, really great place!“

“I stopped by this place while waiting for an oil change nearby. The layout of the restaurant was really fun — you can see the ice rink right next to it, which felt straight out of a high school movie. I loved the classic American diner vibe. It wasn’t too crowded, which made it feel even more local and cozy.

There were claw machines and candy dispensers here and there, which added to the charm. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered a drink, some chili, and a burger. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was decent. Overall, it’s a very chill place. I feel like it’d be a fun spot to stop by once in a while to grab a drink and hang out with a friend.“

“The penultimate neighborhood bar with plenty of characters, shenanigans, and fun! It's our "Just One More" place. Bikers, Rock Stars, and Divas will feel right at home. Live music most weekends, outdoors in the summer in a large parking lot. Everybody who knows, goes there. John & Sparklyn are good people!“

“Last time we had the wings they were delicious, this Thursday they were dry, like they were sitting under a heat lamp and then tossed in sauce Disappointed. Had a BLT it was good! Husband had the chicken panini. It was delicious. Yes, we highly recommend going here. I think that the wait staff needs some more training. 👍“

“Atmosphere was fun and festive, but with only two bartenders, it took forever to get drinks. I stood at the bar with money waving in my hand for over fifteen minutes. Staff was friendly and the fish looked clean. Typical noise level for a bar on a Saturday night with live music.
Thankfully, our friends got here early and held a table for us, otherwise it was standing room only.“

“I ate here twice. Cesar salad with grilled chicken was very good, a little heavy on the dressi g for my liking. I also had the chicken wings which were average, a little too crispy in my opinion, but celery was very fresh and was very good with the blue cheese. Second visit, I had the Italian Wedding soup. Soup was delicious and hot, perfectly paired with the buttery toast that just melted in my mouth with the soup broth and was perfect for dipping!! I also had the market salad with medium rare steak. Salad was big and steak was cook as requested. The soup with toast was definitely the highlight for me. Prices are on the high end, but I didn't leave hungry. Perfect spot when staying at the hotel and don't feel like going out.“

“We have been going there for over a year on the first Friday of every month to see the free live music! It is always a great time and family friendly. The kids really get into the music. The band is excellent, providing music of all genres. If they have live music every Friday, we would be there every Friday! The staff is great and the food above average! “This is a great hang right above the theater, in a beautiful, historic building. It’s a well known and well loved establishment in downtown Arlington Heights. Sure, there are rules (be leery of patron reviews who can’t stand to be chided for breaking legal rules!), but everyone needs to feel SAFE while having fun. Guy said he needed DoD id, then I pointed to where my member ID was. He said not good enough and told me I had to leave. I've gone to a lot of USO's and never been turned away as a vet.“
