“I went to The Vets for the first time Friday, July 2nd. Such a fun place!!! Great bartender, Kristin!!!! She's quick and funny and everything you want to keep a bar full and happy!!!! Very, very clean place!!! All the work they have done is amazing!!! The back patio looks like it is going to be THE place to hang out!!! Beautiful facility!!!! I live several hours away, but hope to come back soon!!!”

And my daughter got two scoops of birthday cake ice cream with gummy worms and sprinkles which she loved! And we got 4 bottled drinks all for under $20! “I wanted a quick bite for lunch and ended up getting the lunch buffet. It was such a good value and the food was delicious. There is a large salad station and for the main dishes there was fried chicken, pulled pork, fried catfish, and a pasta. Some of the hotel sides included baked beans, green beans, sweet potatoes, and a delicious chicken and dumplings. They had some puddings, cakes and am icecream machine for desserts. The food was fresh and the service was friendly so definitely recommend.”

“I've dined here a few times and every time the food and service have been very good. The sides are served family style and portions are very generous. I love the mac and cheese and asparagus. The ribeye with lump crab meat is my favorite entree here. My husband got the 2 lobster tail dinner which was good but was a bit surprised when I saw the check and the market price was $160. Overall, everything is very well priced considering the quality of food and excellent service. They have a great selection of cocktails and my strawberry mule was very refreshing. The dessert selection is great and I love that the desserts are not overly sweet like most places.”

“I’ve been drinking Scooter’s since they came to Carbondale. I would go daily because their drinks are so good. I recommend the Oreo blender with a shot of espresso. Can’t go wrong with it. There’s never a wait unless the drive thru is backed up. Service is great and the workers are always polite and smiling.”

“Server Chloe p was on it with everything we needed and more .. we drove from mount Vernon to check this place out and I recommend it 10/10 .. the wings are the best prolly in southern Illinois that I’ve tried .. house dressing for the salad was phenomenal… the chicken with the creamy sauce was so delicious also tried the black n blue burger it was 🔥 ! . Great job the w restaurant !”

“Ordered chef’s salad! Didn’t get any other ingredients except lettuce for the $13.00 no meat ingredients included. Had to pay extra $3.82 extra. Being served on a dinner salad plate!!!!! With taxes paid about $20.00 chef salad. There was a lot of chicken though and one egg. SMALLEST CHEF SALAD, I know I’ve ever been soaked for. They’ve always had good portions before.”

“Great time celebrating a birthday with friends! Service was friendly and attentive. Margaritas were delicious. I am a sucker for a giant pretzel and baby it did not disappoint. Massive but so tasty and great cheese alongside. I barely had room for the wings I ordered but they were incredible too! Like something out of a food blog. Will definitely be back.”
