“Jude's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Crystal Lake. I love the variety of internationally inspired options and the size of the plates is perfect. I brought a very large group of ladies there for Black Friday, everyone has particular tastes and was able to find something they liked. They have a very trendy area in the back with a huge couch/bench for larger parties which was so comfortable. To top it off, the staff are always kind and accommodating during our visits!“
“Love the Martini Room! I've been regularly going there for their flights on Wednesdays for about a year. I decided to have my 22nd birthday here and easily planned with Gery, he and the bartenders are Super friendly. Had about 20 people in our section that Angel made sure were taken care of. I love that we can bring our own food and they let you order to there as well. I mostly only go during the week because I'm not into drag shows or burlesque- everyone has their own opinion- if you're also not into that be forewarned they do those often on weekends. But they also have live music on some weekends, definitely check their website first if that's a concern. Parking can be tricky especially when it's cold because it's street parking on the bank next door but in the summer time it's not a far walk from the train station on national. I love love love the martini room! My favorite local place.“
“I love the vibe of the restaurant and the food is DELICIOUS. I got the Ragu Spaghetti, it’s literally amazing and the portions are great if you’re like me and love to eat ?. Saganaki is amaze. The Octopus was also super good. It’s a really cool place in Lake in the Hills.“

“So we went here after the Christmas lights down the st. This place was not too busy so it was easy to get a table and eat. The staff were nice and friendly. We both got a beer and burrito. The burrito steak had such a great flavor. Usually they are pretty plain. This one no way. It was very yummy. And enough for left overs. I am enjoying it for lunch right now. As I wrote this. I will say the condiments were ok not my favorite the dark one had a smoky flavor. And the light one was just hot. The shrimp they serve with the chips was tasty and had a fresh flavor. Very good and worth the try. The menus is very interesting looking. I would have loved to try more of the seafood but was not super hungry yesterday“

“We went for a late lunch this past Saturday with 8 of us. Traveled from Wisconsin to have lunch with my nephew.I wish I caught her name, but our waitress was fantastic! Super friendly and attentive. The bartender was also very nice and made some good drinks (according to my family). The place wasn’t very busy and we didn’t feel rushed at all, which was nice.We got fried pickles and chips & guac with salsa for apps and loved them! The kids pizza was huge and actually very good. I got the carne asada tacos and a cup of chili. I can honestly say that the chili was some of the best chili I’ve had and the tacos were amazing. My mom got the pulled pork sandwich, she loved it and it was packed with pork! Everybody loved their meals.It was nice they had high chairs available and a changing table in the bathroom! “Personally, I have been a taco lover all my life!! These are maybe some of the best tacos I've have ever had especially the creativity of the ingredients. Anyone can make a standard taco, and then there is this place. The 3 tacos I ordered were the Thai Pulled Pork, Maine Lobster and The Texan. Phenomenal!!There is a very extended drink menu, something for everyone. The atmosphere is unique and creative. If you are an optimistic person and have a craving for awesome tasting food, this spot is a must try!!!“
“My wife and I had dinner reservations on a Sunday at 5:30PM. We had hoped we would get a nice table towards the windows overlooking the pond outside, but we were seated very close to the entrance to the restaurant. The waiter's service was prompt and very satisfactory, the food was accurately described on the menu and was also very good. The average sound levels at our table measured about 90db on an app on my iPhone, so my wife and I had a very difficult time just trying to talk with each other during our dinner. We both decided to not go to the Elgin Morretti's again due to very poor acoustics in that restaurant. We live close by and the Morretti's delivery service has been excellent in the past, so we can get the food delivered. Maybe if you go at a less busy time, it might not be quite as loud with less people sitting near by.“
“I had a surprisingly fun time here! Josh served me tasty drinks, even turned up 007 on the tv! A few other guests arrived, we ended up all talking and laughing together and even getting late dinner together! Very friendly place but not a full bar, main attraction would be the slots but I think I'll visit again! Returned with a friend who has never been and she's talking about stopping in again, next weekend! You just can't beat the prices and comfortable atmosphere!“
