We stopped by Duke's on a whim on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30. My husband, my daughter and I ordered a brisket sandwich and a pulled chicken sandwich to share. My daughter and I loved everything about this lunch stop. We each had the pulled pork sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. Prime pieces of meat, no fat, no grizzle, seasoned rub, tasty sauce, the type of flavors that I’ve had when I travel down south. The sides of coleslaw were so delicious. Dukes BBQ is a fantastic joint, and the owner is a good guy. Just ate there for the 1st time today, and the ribs are the best. Great dry rub and sauce. Talked to the owner Duke, and he is a good-hearted person. The train caboose is a cool location, too. Mac and cheese is great!
