“I usually am not a fan of barbecue, but that was some of the best food I've had in a long time. Ribs were fall off the bone, chicken was moist and delicious, and the sausage is my new favorite food in town.Not to mention, all the staff are super friendly, and the highlight of my visit!Lived here for 20 years and always passed by (never even knew it was a restaurant) but I HIGHLY reccomend stopping to try!“

“Finally was able to eat here. Delicious! We had the catfish dinners and I ordered a pepper and egg sandwich to go. The catfish was perfect. The collard greens were excellent!!! And the mac and cheese was great too! The owner was very friendly. Loved learning about her journey to opening Tangie’s . “We had BBQ on wheels cater my wedding on 9/23/23. The food was absolutely outstanding! Everyone was complimenting it. It was the most hands free easy going catering service I have ever worked with. We did the pig roast with the Oktoberfest menu and holy moly was that food good! They came on time, set everything up, food was out right on time, packed all the leftovers and cleaned up. I had about 110 people there and there was so much food leftover for my guests to take home. Communication was on point and anytime I had a question or needed to change something, they responded right away. I will definitely be using them again when I need catering next!“

Today my porterhouse was over cooked and without even hesitating the manager Cory had a new steak cook to perfection for me, and was able to enjoy my dinner with everyone else at my table. “It has a vibe of mom and pop restaurant. Service is good but the restaurant can use a bit of face-lift inside. Food tastes good but like the other reviews, some care needs to taken. When we went there were few other guests who seemed to enjoy the food. Our server made sure we got good service.“

“It was Easter and the husband and I found ourselves no where to go. Plans fell through last minute so we decided to take a ride and see what was open. Longhorn was open and to oursurprise not a long wait. Michelle was our hostess and such a sweet thing. The food was amazing I had the 3 pork chops with brussels sprouts and husband had the chop steak. “Texan Barbecue is one of those places that seem to have been there forever. I remember going here over 40 years ago, and have noticed little change. The decor is like a smokehouse from Nashville or Memphis.The food is tasty, and you have various barbecue causes to choose from.We had pulled pork and a Reuben sandwich.Prices are reasonable, and service is good.I have been here several times, and will continue in the future.Conveniently located just north of Algonquin and Main Street.“

“Visited here 3 times this year for the iftar buffet. It's was a very good experience all 3 times, mashallah. But I was a little disappointed in my 3rd visit. There were no vegetarian options in your buffet menu. I had a person with me who was a vegetarian and could not eat anything except your raita with fried rice. I would like to request the management to please have a couple of vegetarian options available in your buffet daily. Apart from that pleasant atmosphere friendly staff.“
