“First, the food is DELICIOUS! They have a lot more flavors of chicken available than some other K.F.C. restaurants. The tteokbokki offers more flavors & add in’s as well. You can tell the company really cares about their food quality and customer satisfaction-eg they have steam vents built into the containers and the keep your to-go order propped slightly open until you pick up your order all so that your chicken remains crispy, rather than getting soggy waiting in a closed container! The staff are always very polite & conscientious. LOVE THIS PLACE!“

“Oh my goodness. The best BBQ we have had in Illinois. We have traveled to Tennessee, Missouri, Chicago and all over the Chicago suburbs and this place takes the cake. (Peg leg in Nashville still is the over all best we’ve had) We happened upon Porkey’s after our Chicago plans fell through. Wow!!!!!!!!!! We had several plates of meat, a kids meal, sides, and dessert and our bill was less than $50. The staff were friendly, attentive and they offered great suggestions. I was so satisfied with our whole experience. From beginning to end a great flipping meal. They also had the bears pre season game on. Everything was so tasty. I will say this… and it may be fighting words, but their lumpia were better than stix and noodles. We had brisket sandwich, 1/2 lb of pulled pork, chicken fingers, a bao bun, brisket lumpia and bread pudding. On sundays they also have apple cider donuts so yeah we had those too! 5 stars from beginning to end.“

“Even though it was a slow Sunday lunch, the service was slow and the order was messed up. The food was good. Some dishes, such as smoked chicken, ribs, rib tips, wings, and curds were great. The burnt ends were super fatty. Our order of French fries came out not fully ready. The server took care of that right away. The Cole slaw was ehhh, nothing to brag about, but the corn bread was delicious. All in all a good experience.“

“Best BB.Q franchise for me. Gives the biggest peices, excellent saucing, and service.

For whatever reason many BB.Q Chicken locations only allow you to select only one flavor for a medium order. So if you want two different flavors you have to pay the higher charge to get two small sizes In different flavors. This location allows me to order two separate flavors for a medium order which saves me a headache, and a little money. I am willing to drive 5 minutes further to go to this location than the other 3 or so BB.Q locations that are slightly closer as a result. Keep up the good work guys!“

The side dishes are just as impressive: everything is clean, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. They honestly remind me of my mom’s homemade cooking, which says a lot.
One of my absolute favorites here is the mul naengmyeon. The broth is incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the noodles have that ideal chewy texture. It’s easily the best naengmyeon I’ve had in Chicago—nothing else even comes close. Every visit here feels like a comforting, high-quality dining experience.“

“Enjoyed the Tuesday, 5 Taco special. Had them made Mexican style...Steak, Asada,and Chicken. Absolutely delicious! Meats were so flavorful, and plentiful! The smoky taste, with the cilantro and onions paired up perfectly.

“We were waited on by Jonathan, who had quite the pleasant demeanor when he arrived. He quickly got our appetizer (wild shrimp) and bread, filled our waters. Soon the luscious steak came. I mean, you can't beat it for taste and value anywhere. I found him (Jonathan) thoughtful when he asked if we wanted more water to go. He and the whole staff deserve your good tips. “My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! The food was delicious, with a great mix of Pakistani and Indian veg and non-veg dishes. The place was clean, and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

One suggestion: they take orders orally, which led to a mistake in our order. It would be better if they wrote orders down to avoid any confusion in the future.
