Tonight I decided to venture out and try this restaurant my family has been RAVING about called Al’s Cafe in Downtown Elgin! I sat upstairs and had this lovely server named Marcie! She recommended the monthly special called “Moonstruck” and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The ambience, service and food is unmatched! If you are looking for a great night out I highly recommend Al’s Cafe!

The charmingly retro atmosphere features an intimate first floor and a spacious upstairs area. The friendly staff provides excellent service. The food is tasty and the portions are huge. The menu includes delicious options like the Cheeseburger, hot caramel milkshake, and delicious schnitzels with scrumptious sides. The salads are crisp and fresh with delicious homemade dressings. Many customers plan to return to Al's for another wonderful meal.
