“I've been coming to Pono Ono Poke since the year it opened. Almost 8️⃣ years ago. Since then I've been to it at least 200 times. It's always been amazing and continues to be my go to spot whenever I'm in Evanston! I highly highly recommend (also it's so much better Aloha Poke down the street lol) The Miso Salmon, Mochiko Chicken, and Spicy Tuna are my favorites. 😋

The atmosphere is super warm and inviting and the employees are always nice and helpful. The music is always a good vibe too. Jack, the owner, is one the nicest guys I know and an amazing restaurant maker. 🙂“

“Karina and Eduardo were kind, generous, and patient when I ordered. The food was top notch, and they made sure we felt welcomed in the restaurant. I highly recommend aloha poke as a staple if you live here. If you are passing through definitely stop by.

Parking: There is a loading zone in front for pick up orders plus a Walgreens across the street, otherwise it’s the regular paid chicago street parking. Order online and pick it up!!!“

“it's good food and affordable and basically instant, but better for takeout since it's only a counter and not very comfortable to sit in. but the lady who runs it is super nice and the food is good and healthy which is hard to find so I go there a lot“

“Really lovely and calming atmosphere! I'm from out of town working an event and it was a very relaxing experience to eat here. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and my partner ordered the general tso chicken (and we both got some tempura shrimp). The server was so kind and polite and our food was AMAZING.
