Pono Ono Poke is the best poke in Evanston, offering some of the best value for money meals. The bowls are amazing, with ample amounts of tasty, fresh, melt-in-your-mouth raw fish, perfect rice, and great sauces. Customers love the island poke, Miso Salmon, Mochiko Chicken, and Spicy Tuna. The service is always friendly and fast, with staff knowledgeable about ingredients, dietary restrictions, and flavor profiles. The restaurant features a beautiful, lush, plant-filled atmosphere that is at once beautiful, calming, and cozy, with a fresh ice-water stand. There is a wonderful plan where guests get a free bowl after so many card punches. The atmosphere is super warm and inviting, with good music. Pono Ono is a go-to spot in Evanston, highly recommended over Aloha Poke down the street.
